LCCC Tamaqua at the Morgan Center
LCCC Tamaqua at the Morgan Center has provided students in the region with convenient, close-to-home options for affordable, high-quality education since 2003. The Morgan Center features state-of-the-art nursing, chemistry and biology labs, a spacious student lounge, open computer lab, tutoring center, library services and off-street parking. Additionally, the Scheller Nursing Simulation Center houses a lab for nursing education including high and low fidelity nursing simulation equipment, control room, classroom, debriefing area and meeting space. The SHINE Program offices are housed on the ground floor of the Scheller Center.
The Tamaqua site offers a variety of courses that can be used towards completing an LCCC degree.
Site Services
Students can meet with staff from admissions, advising, financial aid, counseling and disability support services in-person, by phone or virtual meeting by appointment. Advising is available on Wednesdays for same-day drop-in appointments. Financial Aid is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Representatives from Athletics, Career Development and Civic and Community Engagement, Student Life, and Returning Students and Veteran’s Services are available by appointment as needed.
The library at the Morgan Center is staffed by LCCC library staff and student assistants to assist students with all library services. Weekly hours are updated and posted each semester.
The tutoring lab offers services free of charge for students who need extra assistance with English and/or Math courses; tutor availability and schedules are posted around campus and are updated each semester.
Vending machines are available in the student lounge area, as well as a microwave. For students in need, the Morgan Food Share program is available.
